On August 6, 2000, Fran sang for people involved in the Holocaust Oral History project at Gratz College.

Fran made a return engagement to Barnes & Noble in Jenkintown, PA on Thursday, June 22, 2000,
and once again was received warmly. The event was sponsored again by Kehillah of Old York Road,
“a partnership of the areas’s Jewish institutions, working together to strengthen the community.”

On Tuesday, June 13, 2000, Fran returned to The Stiffel Senior Center of The Jewish Community Centers of Philadelphia,
where she was Branch Director from 1977-90. Familiar faces were thrilled to see and hear her sing again.

Fran entertained residents of the Logan Square East Retirement Community, Philadelphia, on Wednesday, May 31, 2000.
They were hoping she would return again.

Fran sang at Congregation Melrose B’nai Israel Emanu-el in Melrose Park, PA on May 11, 2000.

The Travel Club of the JCC Klein Branch, Northeast Philadelphia, had the opportunity to hear Fran on May 8, 2000.

Fran appeared on the April 15, 2000 edition of the radio program, Crossover,
hosted by Jill Pasternak and Jack Buerkle,
on WRTI 90.1FM, Temple University Public Radio.

Fran was among the entertainers at Another Appearance of Women for History on Saturday, March 18, 2000, an event commemorating Women’s History Month. The headliner was Bobbi LeLand, an 81-year old reciter/reader, who recites the poetry of James Weldon Johnson and Paul Laurence Dunbar to musical accompaniment. Fran sang two songs, and was well-received by the crowd, which was two-thirds African-American.

Fran performed for the Yiddish Cultural Festival group at Haverford College’s Chase Hall Auditorium
on Wednesday, January 19, 2000. The program was described this way: “The soul of a people is best expressed in its music
and Fran will sample the moods of Yiddish song, while accompanying herself on the guitar.” The Yiddish Culture Festival
is an informal monthly gathering organized by several professors at Haverford with an interest in keeping Yiddish alive.
Around 50 people of different ages attended.

On Wednesday, September 8, 1999, Fran thrilled a crowd of 150 people
at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Jenkintown, PA.
People were standing in the aisles.
